After reading through the rebuttal by Bob Tisdale, I could not help but notice, his statement:
"I’ve used HADCRUT because it has the lowest trend of the surface temperature datasets after the 1997/98 El Niño. The actual dip in global surface temperatures after the 1997/98 El Niño is nowhere close to as deep as the one shown in the Easterbrook graph."
I cannot help but wonder if Tisdale is aware of how many folks have beaten on the HADCRUT data. In particular it being feed by NASA Hansen's gang (GISS) with their now acknowledge falsifications in surface temperature techniques as well as models that fudge the data in favor of temperature elevations.
