I understand the defense is supposed to rest its case today. I think most of agree that they have not only been unable to raise reasonable for the Defendant, but they have damaged her case. Like Judge Jeanine said, "It's been amateur hour."
Thanks to everyone for doing such a good reporting job on yesterday's thread, I had to be out all day and got caught up when I got home.
Today should be a very big day. There is still the Motion to Dismiss to be argued, which should come after the State presents its rebuttal case. Does anyone know if they might start today if the defense finishes early? Judge Perry is trying to hurry everything along, and doing an excellent job, IMO.
If you remember back. The nightmare for the Anthony’s was so real. People in times like this need someone who will listen and soothe.
In my opinion, George didn’t have an affair with this woman. I think he talked and she listened. I think she made it an affair because the Enquirer said it would make better copy. That explains River Cruise’s lie to law enforcement. The NE probabaly told her it would be your word against his and you won’t have to prove it. Hence the “all of a sudden” affair.
Cindy was in her own hell and no comfort to George. They were both tryng to take in that their own daughter would do this. JMOO
If she is pregnant...this time they WILL find out who the father is and if it is anyone on her defense team there will be hell to pay. Besides having the child would only buy her some additional time if the jury recommended the death penalty. And as for the baby...it would be put up for adoption. I believe that is what happened with the baby Diane Downs had during her trial. Cindy and family would probably not get a crack at raising another one after all of this.
I don’t even believe George had sex with her. I think she made that part up. Thats why that letter she got had George and Cindys name on it. She may have listened and comforted George, but this woman and her sister inserted themselves into the lives of very troubled people for profit.
I wonder if Krystal River Cruz signed something with the Enquirer to the effect that if she ever changed her story from the one she told them that then she would have to repay the $4,000 they gave her.
There is a definite possibility that this is true. This woman had no proof whatsoever that George was boffing her. At least Monica saved the blue dress.
My best guess is that the jury will doubt her credibility and discount her BS.
Maybe George didn’t testify too well when asked if he had an affair with this twit, but in a way who can blame him when during this whole trial he was betng blamed for everything? When was Casey blamed?
I believe the jurors will see that.
She is too desperate for us to believe her - today she said this had been hard on her kids....So her response it to go on tv and tell ALL the details of how she seduced a man in his position? Who is hurting her kids now?
That seems to be a habit with the attention whore easy money crowd anymore. They have no moral compass, they will say anything it takes to turn a buck.
I am just fed up with the nasty unethical defense team. I think the only thing that baez is worried about is when the Gentiva records come in showing cindy Anthony got on the stand and lied about the computer searches. As he said today, this will give the impression to the Jury that I knowingly put a witness on that lied. WELL YEAH, AHOLE, we know you subborned Perjury so why shouldn’t the Jury know it.
After today, I think Baez may want cindy Anthony’s testilies thrown out. BOZO thought showing how they buried the pets in the back yard and the ritual would implicate George. What a Dumb ass.

Yes, the commentators have been saying that was the single most potent question of the trial. Plainly George and Cindy worshipped Caylee. If they wouldn't even throw a DOG in a swamp, they sure would throw her in there.
Ashton reminds me of Jack McCoy on Law & Order. Ashton has been terrific!
A caller to Nancy Grace earlier had an interesting theory—that Cayce might have been “practicing” on the family dog, which is why the dog could have been acting strangely. Not unheard of. And the Anthonys sure did lose a lot of pets.
Some punk (actually 28 years old) flipped off Ashton in open court today. Luckily the jury didn't see it, but the security camera got a picture of it. After the day's proceedings ended, Judge Perry brought him up, reamed him in front of everyone like you cannot imagine, and threw the book at him, 6 days in jail and a $250 fine. The baliff cuffed him and took him away. The judge tried to explain to him how his actions could have triggered a mistrial because the jury could have been prejudiced if they saw what he did. Ashton was incredibly pissed and was looking daggers at him

I was in the grocery store earlier tonight and the banner headline on the Enquirer is "Casey Anthony: I'm Pregnant!" I wasn't in line long enough to check out the inside though.
I thought it was weird, too, that no one asked her about it when she was on the stand.
There is not even one cell in my bain that thinks anyone but Casey killed that baby. My thoughta are that she killed Caylee. Wrapped her in the blanket put her in trash bags. She had backed her car in the garage to bury Caylee in the backyard. Couldn’t get in the sheds. borrowed the shovel from the neighbor. Went to the backyard where they buried the animals. Being the lazy Bitch she is, she found digging a hole Just tooooo much work. That is why the Cop Dogs hit on the grass. she laid the body on the grass.
Then she threw caylee back in the trunk and drove around with her in there while she try to figure out what to do with the body. but, Decomp ended that. She had to dump the body fast and she went back to her stomping grounds.
She threw Caylee out like trash. I have always thought that the pants that Cindy washed (smelled bad,decomp?) were soiled when Bitch took Caylee’s body out of the trunk. she probably got some of Caylee’s Decomp fluid on her. I bet that REALLY mad her mad.

NAW, she lays around in her cell 23 hours a day. and eats the fine jail cuisine. she’s just becoming one of the women in Prison.
For real. You think Casey was thinking, WOW 6 days for flipping the bird. Wonder what I’ll get for killing my kid?
