I saw a clip of Juror #3 on the news this morning sounding defensive. She struck me as a true airhead and had the reasoning ability of a child. Plainly the jury was trying George, not Casey Anthony. Appalling.

For all the claims that "George lied" the cold, hard facts were that any assertion he made failed to elicit two witnesses, so everything devolved to a "he said/she said" situation ~ and the defense didn't follow up on any of it. After all, they didn't have anything beyond the lawyer's assertion of his being involved in any of this.

What the jurors were left with was a series of assertions by various people about this or that. Alas, they were unable to think about any of it ~ and as the two jurors who have spoken have let us know ~ none of them were very smart anyway.

I agree...the jury was definately against George...and all the jurors who've publically spoken speak of George. It's beyond appauling... Going to work now so will miss the sentencing...Will check after 2:30 today when back home.

Did you see that Juror #3 complaining about George not seeming to tell the truth? W T F!!!!!! What does that have to do with the matter at hand, the guilt or non-guilt of Casey? She was punitive toward the prosecutor because George was a prosecution witness. DISGUSTING! the way these jurors reasoned - and I use “reasoned” very lightly!

George may have been the “reasonable doubt” for the jury.

I think it is appalling to denounce the jurors. We still need to show respect for the jury system....unless we want a different system. You may not agree with them or their verdict but to start personal attacks on them is not right.

Exactly - if I read right, she’s saying that even though the defense told them Casey was a liar, irresponsible, etc., the bloody woman said they didn’t believe GEORGE and that poor, pitiful Casey was a product of a dysfunctional family blah, blah, blah...who isn’t????? Sheesh...

No doubt. George agreed to be the fall guy, knowing he would never be charged.

Where was the one juror, who saw this train wreck coming in the jury room, to at least hang the jury to give the state another chance. One juror could have stood their ground. Not one did.
