And with that, all scientific inquiry and rigors of proof are shut down. Is that really how you want to live your life?

Not really — we still get to figure out HOW God did it! That’s one of the reasons He gave us intellect and free will — so we could study His creation in as much detail as we can, and understand better each day His awesome power and intelligence.

Man was given dominion over the earth by God, and man has spent thousands of years learning. There are numerous verses in the Bible which exhort the reader to learn and to seek wisdom and knowledge. There are other verses that caution the reader to not be prideful of his knowledge or wisdom - basically to avoid thinking that we know everything. The Church has always advocated for learning, contrary to the lies of today's far-left that are propagated throughout the institutions of entertainment, news and education.

The far-left has, only in the past 150 years or so, fomented the idea that to believe in the truth of the Bible was to be ignorant. The Bible is literally filled with exhortations to avoid ignorance and hypocrisy - and to not believe in lies, but to always seek the truth. In order to rise to power, the far-left needs people to give up their God-given rights and responsibilities regarding the fruits of their own labors - their private property - as well as self-defense, management of their households and children, opposition to tyranny, and opposition to immorality (what we know as sin) as well as their stewardship. Because of this need, the far-left has adopted the tactic of getting people to turn against the Bible and abandon it, so they no longer know or understand their rights and responsibilities given by God. This places the far-left at war with God.

The purpose of science is to predict and to control (...and nowadays, to enable and MBA to monetize...)

To what practical use can we *put* this information?

And you also seem to forget that if one engages in reductionism as a convenience for too long, one tends to mistake it for a coherent philosophy, leading one to be able to misuse the fruits of science for cruelty and oppression much more easily; not merely Josef Mengele but Japan's unit 731 -- not to mention the sale of tissue and body parts from aborted human embryos.

IOW, take your strawman and shove it up your ass. The advantage of the scientific method is not the pursuit of truth, but the presence of error bars. See also John Darsee and Michael Mann.

Cheers!
