A new bill pre-filed in the Georgia General Assembly this month would not only allowdrivers to obtain license plates reading In God We Trust, but would in fact require them on all vehicles unless drivers pay to cover it up. Georgia SB 293 would amend current law to mandate that, starting next summer, all plates would be imprinted with the religious declaration. If someone does not wish to exhibit this statement of faith, they would be required to purchase a sticker from the state displaying the name of their county that could be used to cover In God We Trust.

ACLU lawsuit in the making.
More than likely
That is simply illegal.
Do the legislators in Georgia have any competent legal advisors?

And this be our motto, “IN GOD IS OUR TRUST.” From the National Anthem by Francis Scott Key.
God, Guns, Country, Georgia. Its called state sovereignty ya’ll.
Which God?....
I like it. I’d love for Kentucky to bear a similar message. My only question, must one use the state-sanctioned sticker (which one must pay for) to cover the statement or may one fashion his own sticker? That may be the crux of the issue legally.
The poor thumb sucking baby citizens who cry big tears because “In God we trust” is on a license plate. You wonder what else they get their diaper in a wad over. Perhaps it is that rash they cultivate from pissing themselves that makes them so cranky.
You are not clever at all! Try again!

OK.. Rich Warrens God, or Joel Osteens God, the Roman Catholic Churches God.. or the Muslims God.. or Tom Cruises God.. or the Reverend Jacksons God.. or “YOUR God”..
There are “Designer Gods” out there!..
The US Constitution has a “Generic God”..
The ultimate “Designer God”...
Its legal in the United States to have a “Designer God”...
Thats what makes this place so KOOL!!!..
Covering G-d’s name is probably not a good idea.
I would not want His Name on my license plate only because His Name will eventually fade or be defaced in some other manner and it is forbidden to let that happen.
