Cain is Defending Romney On Real Time with Bill Maher

Posted on 01/14/2012 7:57:35 PM PST by Glenn

I clicked on Real Time With Bill Maher on Xfinity and, wow, Herman Cain is fronting for Romney BIG TIME!

I'm disappointed.

I liked Cain, but I think someone should have held office to be president.

Yep..he was...and lets just give them all the rope they want...and hopefully they’ll all hang themselves....what a farce of a primary election...I am so sick of the lot of them.

This reminds me when congress sat Newt up for fall....

I’m not surprised that Cain is on with Maher, nor that he is defending Romney. Not at all.
He fooled a lot of people, but I never liked him.

You aren’t embarrassed by being conned by an artist?

No, not at all.

Trusting someone and believing in someone isn’t something to be embarrassed about. Taking advantage of that trust - that’s on Cain, not me.

He’s a free man, he can endorse whomever he wants. And I’m just as free to accept or reject his arguments behind said endorsement.

But I will tell you this. If he does endorse Romney then I will not be following him.

The biggest dissapointment is that he’s appearing on Bill Maher’s show at all.

AMEN to that! Why in the name of all that's holy is he appearing on that d##khead's show???

Rush who?
Romney will NOT win.
Romney can not beat BHO because BHO will say “he is just like me, so why change”. And for the first time BHO will be telling the truth.

Is that what you think? It is going to get quite crowed in the middle with Romney and Obama battling for that position!

If anyone here thinks that Mittens even stand a chance in heck against Obama, then click the link below and that right there will tell you the narrative that is going to be used in this election.

This dude is a pure clown, but you will see this get picked up and repeated by the media in coming weeks, old Mittens will spend all his days defending himself and his religion, rather than running against Obama and when the media finishes with him, he and his church will be considered a cross between the Klan and Heavengate.

Trust me, this is how Liberals are, when they have no record to run on!

They all know that Romney is the only one with a chance to beat the wanna-be dictator. Just the way it is

That was the same excuse for why we were supposed to back McCain. We're not supposed to nominate a conservative because a 'moderate' (ie, a liberal) is the only chance of winning. It wasn't true then and it isn't true now. These so-called independent/cross-over voters that are supporting Romney in the GOP primary will back Obama in the general, just like they did with McCain.

What makes me more determined than before to support Gingrich is the fear that most seem to exhibit at Gingrich. Why? He is a conservative. He is a Constitutionalists. Almost every thing each candidate raves about Newt was there before them. What the hell is the matter with these nuts? Something Newt is about scares them and maybe because he will attack corruption, power hungry, and anti-Constitutionalists.

You said it…

Between all these vulnerabilities of Mitt Romney:

1) Being Mormon
2) Upcoming narrative of him being a ‘corporate raider’
3) Liberal MA governing record
4) RomneyCare
5) No charisma or personality

So on, so forth, etc.

This guy will be a walking liability on so many fronts for this election.

Can someone explain to me why they think he can actually win? I’m genuinely curious.

He can’t, but Obama needs something to scare his ever shirking pool of suppoters into the polls.

Don’t be too surprised. He endorsed Romney in 2008. I wouldn’t rule out that he ran just to keep the Anti-Romney field divided. Turns out his help wasn’t needed.
