It had to be an electrical flash of some kind. It was too short to be chemical. They said there was no lightning in the area. Too me, it looks like it emanated from the ground. But it’s too big to be an electrical transformer. I am betting on some unusual form of lightning.

Phoenix is the place for it. The weather there is darn weird.

Dry heat though. Just like opening an oven.

It may have been a transformer exploding. I remember a San Francisco Monday night game recently when the lights blew at Candlestick Park, they showed a transformer blowing outside the stadium and it looked an awful lot like the one in the video.

We don’t have lightening here very often. There was no weather situation here at all when this happened...The west sky where it came from is in the vicinity of Luke AFB and further west is Palo Verde Nuclear plant. Seems like someone would be able to figure out where it came from.

The Blaze had this video on their website and then below it was another video from Russia where the same thing occured some time ago. It was determined that in Russia this identical light was from a nuke plant.
