Heh ... that reminds me of this famous NY Post headline. The greatest tabloid headline ever written.

Gladiatrix would be the correct term, I guess.

Some years ago, there was a novel about a tabloid editor obsessed with topping a headline he had seen on a rival paper. He was on a long descent into madness over it. The headline, and the novel’s title, was
“Dwarf Rapes Nun, Escapes in Flying Saucer.”

Dwarf Rapes Nun, Escapes in Flying Saucer. Definitely a contender, but I would have to read the article. Some connection with reality is needed.
Mark Steyn came up with a great variant of "Headless Body in Topless Bar" but now I can't find it, though I commented on it in an FR post.

Zena!
No, that's not Zena. That's the famous one-legged gladiator named Eileen.
She won her fight by cutting of the legs of her male opponent and throwing him into the lake. Noone knew his name at the time, but while the spectators watched him rise and fall below the lake surface, he became known as "Bob".

The female fighter is looking down at the ground
More likely she's trying to figure out where her right leg is........

Looks like her opponent managed to take a hand off as well as a sizable chunk of leg. Only a flesh wound...

Why can’t this simply be ancient porno? If you’ve ever taken an Art History course you know a lot of what passes for art is some creepy rich guy’s porn collection.

Funny looking knife in her hand.
Probably her victim's spleen....
Her weapon is likely imbedded in a skull at this point.
My kinda woman.

I was thinking that knife was actually the guy’s “thing”.
