Does this mean that polar bears went extinct 2,000 years ago? I guess they got better.
This is what global cooling really looks like new tree ring study shows 2000 years of cooling
It’s summer.
It’s supposed to be hot.
Yeah, those rape-the-mother-earth a$$wipes drove to work every day in their SUVs and never recycled...used f-in’ coal plants for electricity too.
Roman pigs.
The vanished vintners of the Imperial Province of Britannia agree. All hail mead and beer!
I’ve been asked a few times if I believe in global warming. My answer is something like “of course, the globe has warmed and cooled in accordance with natural cycles several times within recorded history.”
Then I find out they really mean anthropogenic warming, which they often think is the same thing but is in reality an entirely different proposition.
I don’t remember it being that hot back then, therefore it was not that hot back then. Only what we remember and experience now has any relevance, thus if it is hotter this year than last year, it is due to global warming. That the earth has been hotter in the past and colder in the past, that is historically irrelevant. The only thing that counts is NOW, not then.
thus the lack of historical perspective leads to panic and people following the latest craze, fad, and huckster.
Top story on ABC News tonight.

Oh no, I know for a fact that high temps lead to complete disaster. Al Gore told me that. And since the temps were higher 2000 years ago, the earth burned to a crisp, and we’re all dead. So there. (smirk)
