Obama calls for more edu spending — in school district his campaign stiffed on $25,000 bill

While President Obama's quick to call for spending other people's money on public education, his campaign is extremely slow in paying its own bills — even when those bills are to the very public schools he wants to throw more taxpayer dollars at.

Here's what President Obama said today in North Las Vegas at Canyon Springs High School, which is part of the Clark County School District.

Obama focused his Nevada visit on education, warning that student achievement will drop if he doesn't win re-election and continue to pour resources into schools, colleges and universities.

But when it came to paying for his 2008 campaign events held in that very school district, the Obama campaign took almost four years to pay its $25,000 tab. As NPRI's Nevada Journal reports:

How dare he threaten people like this. This is very much like blackmail!!! The guy is a loose cannon and it won't be too soon for our country that he is booted out of the WH, Washington, and politics. And, I just wonder what Valerie Jarret will do. When Obama is out I doubt he will have any significant role in this country...he has overstepped the bounds. Jarret won't be pulling strings on puppet Obama. He might make the round for speech giving, but what glory is that for anyone else who has been on the Obama gravy train and getting enormous salaries?

And....Joe Biden, the dumbest man in the entire universe cannot muster more then 1000 at his failed campaign rallies. What a team of anti-American losers!!!

We've been pouring gobs of money into the public school system and the children still can't read. More money is not the answer. And the taxpayers are tired of spending money for poor results

Get rid of government micromanaged schools. Home school. Private or parochial schools. Online education. There are alternatives out there. Parents need to take the responsibility for their children's education and stop abdicating that responsibility to government.
