Um, I don’t know why or how but I recognize the importance of that statement. I think that is how they came to be aligned with the larger galaxy.

Somehow they have a plane-like structure similar to a solar system, but with a completely different origin...They don't really know that the origin is completely different from the origins of a solar system, because they don't really know how solar systems were formed any more than they know how galaxies were formed.
