That’s why I think it was on their satellites that was in a somewhat controlled re-entry, and they don’t want anyone taking off with any ‘pieces’ of the object.
Physics is still the law of the land even in Russia. The meteor dissipated a force equal to a nuclear bomb. It would have required the force of a nuclear bomb to get such a satellite into orbit.
