Try some Gunk engine degreaser (not the foaming kind, the other), on those wasps!
They literally stop moving and drop the instant it hits them.

Carb cleaner does the same thing. I’ve literally seen wasps fall out of the sky dead when hit with carb cleaner.

So does gasoline. It kills them immediately dead. Just don’t smoke when you splash some on them.
