I believe you are correct. As long as the park were closed and no activity was allowed, we were safe from any possible volcanic eruptions. Hadn’t thought about that. Of course if it were to go, you might want to be visiting Ol’ Faithful that particular day. Unless you are wanting to put your volcano prepper skills to the test.

Something the size of the Yellowstone Caldera probably isn't going to pay attention to park boundaries.
