Think of all the natural thermal energy that could be harvested. My first thoughts as well.
Sink some wells, build some steam turbines and transmission lines.

Think of all the natural thermal energy that could be harvested. Some of it already is. The Idaho Capitol building and a few other buildings in downtown Boise are heated using geothermal energy.

My Uncle was drilling wells for thermal all around the edges of the Park, thirty years or so ago. It was a govt. project.

Think of all the natural thermal energy that could be harvested. But you could heat every home in the U.S.A. with all the paper work you'd have to file with the e.p.a.
