I love how some people still try to pawn off the flood as a mere story, an allegory. If the flood was a fable then why is there fossilized evidence of sea life all along the top of the Himalayas, including at the Mt. Everest? Why have marine life, such as entire whale skeletons been uncovered in the middle of the desert?

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

it strikes me as rather matter of fact that there would be MANY so called myths about the REAL FLOOD..and yet....those who need to dismiss the Biblical account seem to miss that every time they go on about it

Because the rocks presently at the top of the Himalayas were underwater for various periods till the Indian tectonic plate drove under the Eurasian plate, pushing up the Himalayas?

They're still going up, BTW. About 5 mm a year, or about 16 feet per century.

You’re kidding, right? Google “Nicolas Steno”. Better yet, read “The Seashell on the Mountaintop”.

Not discounting the flood, but plate tectonics gives a perfect answer that makes more sense than a once-time, relatively short duration flood event.

From Wikipedia:

"Lifted by the collision of the Indian tectonic plate with the Eurasian Plate,[4] the Himalayan range runs, west-northwest to east-southeast.."

The Alps were also the result of a collision of plates.

“There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.”

Plate tectonics is the answer you are looking for. The sea life on mountain tops is quite a bit older than any human species, so even if a flood sent them up there to die when the water receded no human would have been around to witness this to build. And the fossils found had forming there for much longer than 40 days and nights.

Because mountains are created when two plates colide and push the sea floor upward. We also know that there used to be many inland seas. This explains your questions but in no way debunks Noah or tries to refute the bible. Accept simple scientifc truths when they are clear.
