This is the NY two-step all over again.
A successful business get puts out of business by a new one that is given tax credits the existing business does not get. The new company is touted as providing “new jobs”. The old company is put out of business by the new company.
Nothing to do with “cash”, instead it has to do with horse excrement, the good Mayor doesn’t want the competition.
