Not sure your age, BenLurkin... but do you remember this about forty some years ago? There was going to be another ice age and we were all going to die. I even remember movies about it. What’s old is new again!

Does thius mean we should run our SUV’s 24 hours per day and burn old tires in the front yard so as to offset this?

All MSM reporters have been instructed to prepare more stories that say that global warming causes colder weather.

The Sun controls earth's temperature? Somebody call Al Gore, need more carbon...the UN must investigate this?

The horror...

There's a paradigm problem here. IF you buy the idea of our sun being a 4B year old thermonuclear furnace, there is no reason to think it would heat up and cool off periodically.

But we know that it does. The sun is not a thermonuclear furnace. Stars are plasma physics phenomena and behave like lightning rods as focus points for cosmic discharge. As they travel through regions of space with greater or lesser electrical potential difference from themselves, they heat up and cool off.

Even if there are glaciers pushing across Minnesota in July the Al Gore like scammers of the climate world will be claiming it is due to man-caused global warming and we should send money...

The earth, she is gonna do what she is gonna do. To think we have any real say in the matter is folly.

Let’s call it the “Al Gore Minimum” so he will be known as a shyster for all eternity.

Once again, Al Gore shows how ahead-of-the-curve he is. He has been driving fleets of SUVs, running the the heat and air conditioning at full blast at all his mansions, leaving a carbon footprint the size of King Kong's butt to personally fight the global cooling that is coming....The People's Hero!!

Something odd was happening to the trees this last year. Certain trees were putting out massive fruit and seeds. Like they knew it was time for survival. I don’t think smog will trigger that response from trees. I think they are picking up on magnetic vibrations due possibly from the sun and our magnetic fields.

Don’t know, but the only way to stop it is to elect more democrats, transfer all wealth to the UN, drive stupid looking little go carts, and make sure the Tea Party cannot party!

Mankind has been keeping weather records for at most a thousand years and only reasonably complete observation for maybe 600 or so years.
That is just a blink of the eye in terms of the suns lifespan. There are MANY phases and cycles the sun couldngo through that we have NO IDEA about.

Even a record of 10 millenia would have gaps and missing data on how the sun can change. It is sheer folly, hubris on a cosmic scale for AGW fanatics to think puny mankind has a massive impact on the planets weather but the sun does not when it is quite clearly the opposite. The sun puts more energy into the planet in one day than all of mankind does over the course of a decade.

Not to worry....Obama will issue another EO....

"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal.

Welcome King Barack "Canute" Obama the Great.....

...Obama issues an Executive Order to the Sun...

....to increase it's magnetic field....

and make a good crop of sunspots before elections in 2016....

(PhysOrg.com) -- Sunspot formation is triggered by a magnetic field, which scientists say is steadily declining. They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.

The last time the sunspots disappeared altogether was in the 17th and 18th century, and coincided with a lengthy cool period on the planet known as the Little Ice Age....and lasted 400 years.

Good luck surviving with no electricity and GE modified seeds.

Well. if this summer isn’t 100 degrees for 8 months here in Louisiana, then I-for one- will celebrate. Using the current logic, heat produces cold, we should have snow in August instead of hurricanes, right? Bring on global cooling, and let it begin at the equator!
