Not good enough. I demand immediate action! The federal government should outlaw drought right now. If Congress won't take action then Dear Leader needs to do it by Executive Order. I'm going to have Sheila Jackson Lee write the necessary documentation.
When I moved to the Central San Joaquin Valley in 1986’ we were in a seven year drought. Of course we were headed for a new ice age back then and the delta smelt was a minnow which swam thru the water pumps in the Delta. Today, after cutting OFF the water from the Delta to save a fish that would have been bait years ago, we are left to pray for rain, which our betters capture and divert away from us. We can’t win for losing.
