All this proves is they found camel bones from 900BC. Doesn’t prove camels weren’t there earlier. They just haven’t found them yet.
When Abram sojourned in the land of Canaan, there was no country called Israel. There was no nation called Israel either until Jacob was born, who was renamed Israel after the wrestling match that everyone ought to know about.
The first mention of camels is in Genesis 12:16, and it refers to their being owned by the Pharaoh of Egypt.
This finding doesn’t mean that camels weren’t brought in during earlier periods but not adopted/domesticated until later.
Camels have been around for tens of thousands of years. They were used by migratory/trading people for possibly thousands of years before they were “domesticated” in the newly settled areas of the Middle East.
By the way, Camels are not kosher, and my son, who encountered them in Iraq, say they stink like a cesspool.
My late grandmother did ride a camel in the old Palestine in the 1920’s, and then smoked them for years.
Remember the old joke? How do you like your camels, one hump or two? Neither do I.
So lack of evidence is now proof - Ok then show me the evolutionary transitional species!

Personally, if I was about to be made a slave, that is what would bother me, not if someone was about to take my donkey.
At any rate the sons of Jacob are depicted as using donkeys as beasts of burden, not camels.
I found five pennies in parking lots in the past month. The oldest penny I found was from 1972 so I’ve concluded that pennies didn’t exist in the 1920s.
1. Radio carbon dating isn’t that accurate
2. There is a massive presumption that they are testing bones that are uniquely what they think they are, i.e. why are deciding what they haven’t found doesn’t exist?
Just ask somebody who was there....

My father was a a cowboy in Wyoming on a Ranch. The horses they used to mow hay were wild 9 months out of the year. I suspect camels were not needed all the time and left to forage in the wild till needed.
So the bible mentions animals from their future?

The standard story about Camels is the Biblical proof that people smoked:
Gen 26:64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel.
Unfortunately, this story only works from the King James Version (also known as the Authorized Version).
Oh no! The Bible just fell apart because the camel bones were dated to be from 900 B.C. I guess my faith is destroyed.
By the way, aren’t real scientists today supposed to pretend that Christ’s birth wasn’t the pivotal event of all history and then use the silly B.C.E. and C.E. suffixes when dating stuff?

“A tomb that was dated to the first dynasty (about 3000 B.C.) and opened in 1905 contained a lime-stone vase that had the shape of a lying dromedary camel. The vase depicts a dromedary that carries a burden. H.S. Smith of London University pointed out that pictures of camels existed in Egypt already in the pre-dynastic period (before 3000 B.C.).
An earthenware head of a camel from times previous to the first dynasty was found in Maadi near Cairo in 1930. A rock carving of similar age depicting a dromedary and other animals was found in Wadi Natash el-Raiyan, in the eastern desert, also around 1930.
In a gypsum quarry, under half a meter of gypsum powder, a string made of camel’s hair was found. Pottery from the same layer was dated to the third or early fourth dynasty (about 2640-2500 B.C.). The string had presumably been used by a miner to keep his clothing together. This too is just a piece of evidence that camels were known in Egypt even in those days. At the beginning of the 20th century a statuette of a dromedary carrying two water jars was found in a tomb at Rifeh. The tomb reigned in the 13th century B.C., and was not used again in later times. The water jars were of the type used during that century. A glaze picture of a dromedary with water jars found in Benha dating as early as 1300 B.C..”
There is a picture of a camel, with a rider on its back, found in the ruins of Tall Halaf in Iraq, which dates back to between 3000 and 2900 B.C..
In 1912, near Aswan, in Egypt, a rock painting was discovered which showed a man pulling along a camel on a rope, plus seven hieroglyphic characters. On account of the writing Möller dated the inscription to the period of the sixth dynasty (2320-2150 B.C.), and Schweinfurth concurred. However, Croft disagrees regarding the figures as graffiti from the 19th dynasty (1300 B.C.).
