Every 80’s song, every single one, is torture because every song has been played to death. Right now the radio at the office where I work is playing Once in a Lifetime by Talking Heads. Who could possibly want to hear that song one more time? Then there’s those mumbling 90’s songs. Why did mumbling become the thing in the 90’s?

Nirvana.

Here's a great send-up of mumbling during a song.
