I’ve always wondered about the impact of a meteor on volcanism. There are a lot of little plate sections in the Caribbean.

I bet that sucker made magma sacs go wild in some spots..That was my thought. The shock wave would have transmitted thru the Earth back and forth several times. Probably woke a bunch of volcanoes.
