Is this for real, a detectorist?

Detectorists is a British comedy-drama television series which was first broadcast on BBC Four on 2 October 2014.

I can understand the Britiush actually being able to
call themselves this seriously with a straight face
because they have been nutered for over 400 years.

I guess detectorist’ put the cheese in geek macheesemo.

Can’t wait for carpenterists, accountantist, law enforcmentist and lord help us freeperists.
