The Moroccan-born mayor of Rotterdam has said Muslim immigrants who do not appreciate the way of life in Western civilisations can 'f*** off'.
Ahmed Aboutaleb, who arrived in the Netherlands aged 15, spoke out in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris last week.
Appearing on live television just hours after the shootings, Mayor Aboutaleb said Muslims who 'do not like freedom can pack your bags and leave'.
'It is incomprehensible that you can turn against freedom,' Mayor Aboutaleb told Dutch current affairs program Nieuwsuur (Newshour).
'But if you don't like freedom, for heaven's sake pack your bags and leave.
'If you do not like it here because some humorists you don't like are making a newspaper, may I then say you can f*** off.

LOL. Wonder what a true moderate Muslim looks like? Here’s a great example. People like him and al Sisi in Egypt give me hope that maybe someone can drag Islam out of the Dark Ages over time.
Hope he has better bodyguards than Pim Fortuyn and Theo Van Gogh had.

For the first time Muslims do seem to be speaking out. I've seen Muslims on non-political sites saying how disgusted they are by this. Very interesting.

Most of them fled the pogroms which occurred under the Czar.
To conquer and colonize- neither of which historically has had anything to do with accepting the existing culture and civilization you are conquering or colonizing. Pretty straight forward.
Well, generally that is true, though the Germanic barbarians who conquered and colonized the Western Roman Empire, by and large signed up to become Roman culturally and tried for a while to keep up the civilization. (Merovingian France was a fully literate society with Roman law, and was Visigothic Spain, and Alaric's interactions with the Empire weren't really any different from those of a Roman general angling for the Imperial throne.)
