Iraq’s Ministry of Transportation announced that an Iraqi young woman has become the country’s first female commercial airline pilot, according to Arab media reports on Friday.

The ministry’s media office said in a press release on its website is that “Dalia, an Iraqi woman, has received a pass after completing her qualifying courses to become the first Iraqi woman to fly a civilian aircraft,” also adding that “this makes her an accepted and welcomed member of Iraqi Airways.”

The British educated woman will be the first Iraqi female to hold the title of “flight captain”.

The Iraqi minister of transport Baqer al-Zubaidi congratulated Dalia on her achievement during an Iraqi-British conference for business and trade organized by Baroness Nicholson in London.

It is believed that Dalia will be Iraqi Airways first female pilot since their inception in 1945.

Whew, I was worried that having so much of the country occupied by an enemy would put a damper on everyday life as they act expeditiously to eject those invaders not only from key towns but from the country.

It’s unlikely the male pilots will fly with her.

And, if it’s known she is in the cockpit, a substantial percentage of the passengers will object.

Where do they fly? Seems like ISIS holds most of the major airports outside of Baghdad, these days.

I feat the ISIS thugs will kidnap her and use her as an “example” in their perverted cause and will video her getting an involuntary head amputation.

And the US certainly won’t do anything about it with the current resident “in charge”...

The Muslim women are starting to live like women in the West. This women is a pilot, a few women are driving cars, some women are becoming lawyers. I used to think that these changes would be a civilizing influence. I can see now that the changes will be a destabilizing factor for men who are members of the Muslim population. Muslims are never really at peace with people who are members of any other faith. They may be at peace for a short time in order to regroup but they keep fighting because death in the holy war with the infidel is required of Muslims. There will be no peace with members of the Islamic faith. Converts are not safe because Muslims are not at peace among themselves.
