Do you mean like Ted Cruz in the last three weeks? Or as Scott Walker in his new pay to play dealings? If a person has any government back ground they are dirty and have taken money and gifts. You can call it funds to run but it is really just payment for future deals.

I'm beginning to think that way, too. To be chosen by the "in crowd" in either party for anything beyond local dog warden, a candidate has to be compliant. Maybe some get past the machine and into the HOR, but very few seem to keep their head above water when they get to DC. DC is an integrity-sucking machine.

Cruz lost me when he held up the US Senate end of things to pass the Obama trade bill. And his supporting MORE H1B Visas? What world is he living in?

Well I think Trump is right when he says the politicians are not gonna get you to the promised land. They just have to pander to too many people to raise enough money to run for President. That’s why nothing ever changes. Once these guys are beholden they cannot ever make a tough decision.

Mr. GG2 and I are taking ten steps back and are watching what happens as we are very unhappy with the way the republicans are voting for the most part. If Trump announces on the 16th which I believe he will then we may well back him.
