Sources: Clinton confidant who sent Libya memos paid $200G by Brock network

The Clinton confidant under scrutiny on Capitol Hill over detailed Libya memos he sent to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told lawmakers earlier this week he has been pulling in $200,000 a year from Clinton ally David Brock's media operation, congressional sources tell FoxNews.com.

While the payments to Sidney Blumenthal may not reflect any apparent conflict of interest, his work with Brock's liberal advocacy and media groups was a focus of his high-profile deposition on Tuesday before the House Benghazi committee. Republicans' rationale for the questioning was that his financial and political interests are important context, at a time when he was sending high-level guidance to Clinton.

Politico.com first reported that Republicans grilled Blumenthal on his work for Brock's groups. But while the report said Blumenthal was making more than $10,000 a month, congressional sources say he acknowledged during the deposition he actually had a $200,000-a-year contract.

The money was in addition to the $10,000 a month he was getting for work with the Clinton Foundation.

"He was getting, from Clinton, Inc., $320,000 a year," one source told FoxNews.com.

Because people are throwing so much money around these days in politics, I’d like to see Trump put up a $10 million dollar bounty for evidence leading to the arrest and conviction/impeachment of past or current high-ranking members of the Obama administration. He certainly can afford this out of his dresser drawer change, and this would definitely permit the persons who collect the reward enough money to leave the country (they’ll have to) and live a pretty good life.

I’ll bet that some really, really interesting “stuff” would turn up. The Dems can’t afford to buy EVERYONE off, and I’ll bet that there are some goodies lying around that not even Democrats would permit to be ignored.

In one news report.....the Clintons defend their foundation’s work by saying that its focus has always been on "charity." “We and our supporters care only about impact, not ideology,” Bill Clinton said in his written statement. “We are an entirely non-political foundation.”

However, the foundation teems w/ key members of Hillary’s political team and has been disparagingly referred to as Hillary's 2016 Super-Pac.

But Sid's secret emails show that, while on the foundation payroll, ostensibly promoting Bill's legacy, Blumenthal fed back-channel, usually unreliable, intelligence reports on Libya to then-Secretary of State Clinton.

Hillary sent Sid's reports on to senior State official without attribution......as if they were her analyses.

Few people have heard of Cody Shearer, the Clinton flunky whose name surfaced in connection with intel reports Sidney Blumenthal was channeling to then-Secy of State Hillary.

Shearer....a shadowy fixture of the Clinton machine was everywhere in the 1990s — including war-torn Bosnia, where he became the subject of a State Department investigation after he represented himself as an agent of the U.S. government and took cash from a genocidal warlord.

Now evidence suggests Shearer, working with his partner, Sid Blumenthal, was up to something similar during the 2011 revolution in Libya.

And as in the 1990s, the Clintons were lurking on the margins.

Much of the intelligence contained in the Blumenthal memos fed to Hillary Clinton were not just self-serving — the intel was provided by someone with a history of misleading foreign sources, misrepresenting himself as an agent of the U.S. government, and creating trouble for both himself and the United States abroad.

Though often described as a journalist, Shearer hasn’t written much since the 1980s. His work included a series of muckraking columns wrote on the sexual proclivities of former Texas senator John Tower which sank his nomination for defense secretary in 1989.

Shearer’s entrée into the Clinton White House in 1992 was facilitated by Strobe Talbott, Shearer’s brother-in-law, Bill Clinton's friend at Oxford. Talbott served as a deputy secretary in Bill Clinton’s State Department. Shearer allegedly worked with Clinton enforcer Terry Lenzner to investigate and, at times, intimidate women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment. --snip--

Obama never noticed that Secy Hillary never e-v-e-r uttered a discouraging word e-v-e-r......as the Clinton Foundation sucked up hundred of millions of foreign dollars from shady characters.
