I'm sure you understand, if you're broadcasting wireless in many cases it can be picked up. Same with your cell.

I do understand but I lived in the country and the wireless phone signals are weak. He had a special tuner and was searching for conversations to eavesdrop on. That’s a whole other level. What, are you Bob?

Savy people can hookup to your network or wireless devices. You just need to know that, regardless of what your neighbor’s motives were or where you happen to live.

Well, just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Eavesdropping on your neighbors is pretty low.
When I was a kid we had party lines. We were taught if someone was on the line to immediately hang up. But I guess that was a different time. Rudeness now seems to be the order of the day.

But I miss the old days when he’d live stream his radio show with wife Ramona, and his cats. I’d love seeing them pop up every now and then.
At around 2:30am he cut it short because of technical problems. Then on 7490 they switched in the DMRN feed and it is still transmitting. Signal is gone on 5085.
At 3:00 am EST wbcq signed off.
Make sure to tune in tomorrow night for the first official live show. The show is from monday to friday 12:00 am est to 3:am est.

Thanks for posting this CanadianPete! Art Bell always was entertaining, interesting and fun listening. I first heard him driving home very late at night and loved hearing the show.

Not too worried. I’m not plotting the overthrow of the government on my cell phone -—yet.
