Phoenix during monsoon.

Lived there for almost a year before I had to leave.

Because it IS the most miserable place on the planet.

You’re 8250 miles off, but Phoenix is bad for the states.

Average temperatures here are 8 degrees hotter while the relative humidity here averages 27% higher.

See page 28. Dew point temps of 85F to 95F or even higher!

This is because these bodies of water are the hottest on earth and so have no cooling effect on the adjacent land, but still provide plenty of moisture for humidity.

I’ve never been there and don’t plan to go. Unless somebody pays me a LOT.
