“Yes, we really are spoiled, especially if you love the cool weather”

Yes! I loved the cool weather, fog rolling in off the ocean with a light mist falling much of the winter. It sounds especially appealing right now since where I’m at near the Gila Natl Forest in New Mexico it’s up to 95 right now. We haven’t had much rain this ‘rainy season’, so there isn’t really any humidity to speak of. On the subject of libtards, they discovered this area too. So I’m not really sure if there’s anywhere to get away from them anymore. Areas that have been privately owned for logging, ranching, farming, and mining need to stay in private hands no matter how tempting those offers by the government and other organizations such as the Nature Concervancy may seem. Once any of them obtain the land, it’s over. On the smaller scale, perhaps conservatives need to be mindful of who they either sell or rent their land to.

Are you in Ft Bragg or Medocino?

As far as the liberals----when I moved here all those years ago we would go into Mendocino and there would be hippy street vendors selling their wares outside of the legitimate shops. Finally after years the shop owners put up such a fuss they were able to ban the them.

Parts of New Mexico are just beautiful, but for me I'm afraid it's way too much brown. Although we haven't had rain in a long time, we're still green and maybe because of the beautiful conditions you so eloquently described.

We're exactly 5 miles south of Ft. Bragg, and 5 miles north of Mendocino----right in the middle.
