I think Beck was asked to leave Fox - I don’t think he left on his own accord.
He was forced out after he basically called Obama a racist. The leftists harassed Fox sponsors and he had to go.
No doubt his show was plummeting in the ratings and ad revenue for FOX, but Beck made many comments indicating it was a meeting of the minds, so to speak.

Beck never had a program on FoxNews; he was just a paid contributor. ....His program was on CNN’s HLN.
As so many others have said on this thread, I also think he may have a mental problem.
