He was speaking at the National Press Club today and completely eviscerated Donald Trump. He started out by saying that he likes the idea of Trump calling out the establishment and that his diagnosis on Washington DC is correct. He finds the Trump show very entertaining and says he even laughed when he gave out Lindsey Graham’s phone number. But while his diagnosis is good, Jindal says Trump’s prescription of himself is not what America needs.
But then he lit into Trump, calling him a narcissist who only cares about ‘Trump’ and says the only reason he likes Kanye West is because West likes Trump. Jindal notes that like all narcissists, Trump is really weak and insecure and afraid of being exposed.
He had several really good jabs at Trump, but one that I thought was a particularly good zinger was when he explained why Donald Trump can’t even tell you his favorite verse in the Bible. He says Trump has never read the Bible because Trump is not IN the Bible! Wow.
Jindal says for the first time in a while conservatives have a real chance of winning, and yet right now an unserious candidate is leading the pack.
I have to say that I love what Jindal said. He really threw down the gauntlet and laid out the case against Trump better than anyone has thus far. And he didn’t do it in a mean and nasty way. He did it in a very thoughtful and substantive way.
Now all of a sudden Jindal looks like a serious candidate who is willing to fight for this nomination. BRING IT ON

I’ve been enjoying watching the Trump parade. His attacks on the GOP-e have been fun.
However, Bobby makes good points.
It’s still Cruz, Santorum, or Jindal for me.

They need to focus their attacks against Hillary....Biden....Sanders....Warren.
Jindal while a nice man has no chance so he should just go away.

The bottom of the pack is feeling the pressure to do the job they were paid to do. Split the vote to open a path for jeb.
What Jindal did was offer up an OPINION of Trump. You know what hey say about opinions? They are like as*holes, everybody has one.

Wow, it’s like Jindal woke up and he saw what was ailing America.
It isn’t the illegal invasion, its not the do nothing Republicans, its not obama, its not our massive debt, or stagnant economy..its not even Hillary? Trump is the problem.
I liked Trumps responses when he was saying of course these candidates attack him, look at their numbers. Personally feel like that was more effective than commenting on Jindal's ears or whatever Trump's brewing up.
Sounds now like the GOPe-property candidates have been sent out on a coordinated attack against Trump’s religious authenticity. Presumably to try to peel away the religious right, but very misguided IMO—likely to backfire as their other efforts have.

Jindal is just looking for some traction but attacking Trump is a failed method— why do it? Then again what else is there for those candidates lower down on the totem pole. (or poll)
