With the imminent release of the new Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, many theatergoers are re-watching the original movies to reacquaint themselves with those stories from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. This time, however, they may find themselves surprised by how much the film’s characters and themes echo the current War On Terror.

I really do enjoy these revisionist Star Wars articles. Justifies my attraction to the Empire besides the English accents, cool uniforms, musical motifs and equipment.

Of course for that interpretation you have to ignore how many time Luke gave Jaba a chance to give up Solo without any violence. And while Jaba is tied to any government he’s got enough guys with guns hanging around to seriously stress the definition of “civilian target”. And ignore his refusal to kill anybody in anger, even the Emperor himself.

This analogy better fits his father going to the dark side as the murderous Darth Vader.

The Left is made up of people who only act nuts to get attention — and people who are truly bat-shtt crazy.

He’s not radical in the sense of advocating Jihad. However, he IS radical in the sense of advocating for the Vietcong, since Lucas made it VERY clear that the Rebels and Ewoks were indicative of the Vietcong, while the Empire was in fact supposed to represent America. And believe me, this is not the first time Communists tried to exploit family values to promote their agenda. In fact, an Alternate U(niversity) group actually distributed several, one of which had a Vietcong woman swaying her brother into becoming a Vietcong even when he was loyal to South Vietnam and wanted to stop the Communists, in a manner that was eerily similar to how Luke swayed Vader. See it here if you don’t believe me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYcZoYWS2zE
