Word reached the White House hours before formal media announcements were made regarding longtime Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia having been found dead while vacationing at a Texas resort. First the speechwriters were summoned to provide the appropriate tone for Barack Obama’s remarks. During that same time, Obama and Valerie Jarrett were already initiating a long-standing plan for what they viewed as a prime opportunity to make Mr. Obama relevant once again and an opportunity that the President was said to be thrilled to have before him...

If he wins it is like taking our nation off life support. The nation as we have known it dies with Scalia. Obama cannot win this one. It may be too late anyway, obviously, given decades of social engineering. Still we must fight until the plug is pulled.

Hussein did have a little extra hop in his step as he strode up to the mic in Palm Desert tonight.

Well, he did play “golf” all day with the boys.

He was probably still a bit tender

Having to depend on Supreme Court decisions means that our country is already beyond hope.

We should be able to expect decent executive capabilities, and thoughtful legislative capabilities to run our nation.

The Supreme Court has always been a last resort.

Lately the Supreme Court has basically been ruling in favor of whatever the Chamber of Commerce thinks is best. That's why it sometimes appears conservative (blocking Obama's EPA legislation) and sometimes appears liberal (supporting gay marriage.)

It's time we all realize that the Supreme Court, like the executive and legislative branches, are bought and paid for by global corporations.

We the people need to fight back at all levels to take our country back from the jet-setting globalists.

This is like a $$$$ing nightmare!!

I called my congressmen already and left a message.

I’ll go to DC with any FReeper who will meet me there and I’ll block the dam door and do my best Luca Brasi impression when they try to arrest me.

They’re not taking my country down.

They’re NOT taking my country down.

I have not watched one SOTU. Well maybe the one where someone rightfully called him a liar. I have refused to acknowledge his illegitimate presidency.

I have refused to acknowledge his illegitimate presidency.

He's not my president. I may get scolded for saying so, but I just don't give a tinker's dam.

Nothing is by accident.

Haman Obama built the gallows for America, but we know how the story turns.

I notice that the Muslim traitor couldn’t even be bothered to put on a tie for his remarks on camera last night.

Ths is all going to be very interesting, and not good at all for Republicans.

The GOP is going to be excoriated for months for denying a sitting president a chance to place his nominee to the Supreme Court, especially when that nominee will likely be a highly qualified minority. The media outcry will be unprecedented and relentless in large part because what the Senate Republicans propose - denying a nominee until the next presidential term - is unprecedented.

Think about it - if the current Republican Senate refuses to seat a nominee, the vacancy will effectively be TWO YEARS! The next president conceivably could nominate on January 21, 2017, but that nominee would likely not hear any cases until the fall of 2017.

The outcry over this is going to make the prospect of a Republican presidential victory even more remote than it already is. And even if a Republican won the White House, the odds are he will have a Democratic Senate to work with. Can you imagine the odds of any conservative judicial nominee being confirmed (for any court) under such a scenario?

The GOPe Senate is going to fold and confirm President Obama’s supreme court nominee in the end anyway. The only question is how much damage are they going to inflict upon themselves among the general public by refusing to confirm, then by betraying conservatism by folding.

Again, this will be very interesting and likely absolutely disastrous for the GOP.

I heard about Scalia’s death and was disturbed. I was disturbed because I liked him and depended on him. All that stuff Rush Limbaugh says about how you can depend entirely on Cruz? Well, it is not true, based on a little thing called his vote, but it was entirely true with Scalia.

It is also disturbing because now we have to depend on the Republican Senate to fight Obama on this. How has that turned out in the past?

His speech was the worst. Reading off notes cards proved he didn’t have a clue who Scalia was.

Let the games begin, allow them to bring forth thier candidates and scrutinize them to the max much like they did to ours. This way you are not denying the process just the candidate until we are satisfied to some extent who this candidate really is.

The thing is, there is no ounce of human sentiment in that thing in the White House. Notice any time he goes to the podium to talk about tragedy or death, whether it’s here or in France. It shouldn’t surprise us that the death of an “enemy” (in this malignant narcissist’s eyes) could bring an evil glee out of him.

That’s who this dictator is.
