Seein as how we haven't yet managed to outrun our radios, I'm thinkin anything >1 light year is somewhat irrelevant. Or not. I'm sure there's a "poll" on it somewhere.

Lest we forget, it would take about 8,000 years to go a single lightyear at our current fastest speeds. So it’s about 128,000 years to this red dwarf. Maybe we can talk all the dimmos into making the trip? Then again, if there was anybody there, sending them there would be an act of WAR!
