The neighbor’s chickens were so smart that when the raccoons came, they all lined up and stuck their heads through the chicken wire. The raccoons pulled off their heads. Every single chicken. Did they hide in the coop? No. Did they run to the other side of the yard? No. They stuck their heads through the fence so the raccoons could pull them off.

Brilliant.

My wife and I have chickens and we love the fresh eggs. They also help compost the yard with their poop. However, I've concluded that our chickens must have consumed large amounts of lead-based paint when they were still chicks at their hatchery. We have “special needs” chickens who are hopelessly dumb as rocks.
