Secular-nationalist authoritarian but ‘progressive’ (in the original non-leftist sense) systems would be my ideal for the muslim countries. Rather Assad than al-Saud.
As for Israel... it would be better if they were not involved in destabilizing neighboring countries (such as Syria) and collusion with radical sunni forces (Saudi Arabia, Turkey and jihadi rebels in Syria) just because it seems opportune at the moment for countering Shias.
It is funny... folks here (justly) trash Saudi Barbaria, but won’t dare looking at Israel’s sordid association with the odious Saudi terrorist ‘royal’ clan.
After all, Egypt Jordan and Syria twice tried to exterminate you, you try to ally with them...

Saud is the only place that has not yet tried overtly exterminating Israel.
Though Israel knows that will come once Saud has met their area goals.
