The mother of a newborn found in the trashcan of a New Roads Wal-Mart in December was indicted Thursday (March 9) on a charge of second-degree attempted murder in East Baton Rouge Parish, WAFB reports.
A grand jury formally charged Kyandrea Thomas, 34, with the attempted murder charge as well as cruelty to a juvenile, the Baton Rouge TV news station reported. Police said the 6-hour-old infant was found in the trash can Dec. 23, 2016, after Thomas gave birth to the child in the store's bathroom.

Sometimes I do support forced sterilization.
Good. No excuse at all for this kind of nonsense.
Her neck grosses me out. Looks sweaty.
Had she killed the baby the day before by jamming a coat hanger up her —— all would be fine.
Black on Black Crime.
Sorry for the child.
Yo laz?
Only because she didn’t make it to Planned Parenthood. /s
In keeping with the location of the childs birth he was named “Lowe Price”.

Horrible. Prayers up for the child. I hope they don’t decide to return the baby to her after she has been “rehabilitated”.
One would have to drink so much tequila to want to be with her that he would be incapable of fulfilling the mission. You would think anyway.
Many women trade sex for drugs.
Timing is everything..... if only she had used the “women’s care” services of Planned Parenthood they’d have murdered the little baby for her, maybe even given her a little kickback on the eyeballs and heart.....problem solved!
She was concerned that her studies at Harvard would be adversely impacted by the maternal responsibilities
Already, 70% of all Black pregnancies end in an abortion.
I just hope the child ends up in a good home and has a good upbringing. I also hope the child is never told about it’s “real” mother.
There’s not enough tequila on the planet.
FR used to have a lot more morbid/gallows humor. Not so much anymore. To many whiners here now.
