Here’s a hint for those who have tough beards or who don’t shave every day. Lather up some soft soap and put that on the beard first. Then put your favorite Barbarsol on top of that. I don’t even use hot water anymore. The razor cuts a lot smoother and cleans a lot easier. Dry the razor after this procedure on a towel and it will last a long time.

Ditto. Only I use a moisturizing lotion on my thick gruff after soaking it some with hot water before shaving. Drying the razor afterwards extends its life greatly.
