Perhaps, but to be completely mercenary, maybe that's a good thing. That is, while some/many are wasting their time and/or emotional energy, the smart money is already preparing for more economic activity and financial rewards.
By way of example, it's customary to leave Dodger games early. Why, to beat the traffic of course. By the 7th inning, unless the game is close, interesting and/or important, it's just not worth getting stuck.
Same true with these palace shenanigans; it's all over except for the crying (by the left). Trump isn't going anywhere, in fact, just like Midway marked the end of Japan's 6 month offensive, the realization that the tide has changed will be reflected when everyone gets back to town.
The astute have already figuratively headed for the (DC) exits; there's money to be made, fun to be had, and MAGA to be enjoyed.
