From the you just had to know THIS was coming department, the CEO of the recreational vehicle and equipment chain Camping World is already backing down from statements that he made suggesting that some supporters of President Trump should shop elsewhere.
The remarks of Marcus Lemonis have come back to bite him in the ass big time as he seems to be finding out just how many millions of dollars that his loose tongue and arrogance could cost him if Trump supporters took his advice and spent their hard-earned dollars at businesses owned by competitors.
Now he is claiming that it was all a big misunderstanding and that he ONLY meant the neo-Nazis and white supremacists which according to CNN there are 63 million of them.
Last customer standing.
I suspect he's already found out. It would be fun to be able to look at his before and after sales figures.
The boycott is just starting.
Go there fill up a couple carts. Have them ring it all up. Then say, “ oh I just remembered, I voted for Trump, you don’t want my money”.
I just left a message at camping world. what an utter ‘tard this guy is. I love(d)his show too, but will never watch it again and will go out of my way to never buy another thing he’s affiliated with.
Hey Marcus, you left out Antifa and BLM
Oh, that wasn’t intentional?
FU,damage done. Lemon sucker
The NFL believes that you will still show up no matter what how much they insult you because they are the only game in town.
Plenty of stupid on their side....
Not anymore, more and more young kids are following soccer. English Premier League and Bundesliga Games are now on Network TV.
Karts?
They sell $150 grand 40+ feet long busses that are actual homes.
That’s what to fake buy.
CEO of Camping World, Marcus Lemonis
Sorry, Bud. Now we know how you REALLY feel.....
Stupidity has consequences and this level of stupidity deserves the harshest smackdown.
Fair or fair-ish elections prove we aren’t outnumbered. The numbers are close. The progs simply have unlimited money from those who want to destroy America as it was founded and they have a megaphone in the press.
Every company that does this suffers in some manner. When they try to demonize a company owned by conservatives, like Chick-Fil-A, it backfires and the company profits. They are losing elections.
A few on the prog side are warning that bullying isn’t a winning tactic, but it’s all they have. Rather than shutting us down, American conservatives are growing stronger both within ourselves and as a movement.
You’d think a political contingent made up of minorities would understand rebellion. That is what they are fostering against themselves. They are doing us a favor.
For me, I've never patronized Camping World for anything but I DO spend a ton on IMSA sports car series races (owned in part by NASCAR) and made my intentions known to the Business Development Dept. at IMSA HQ.
My money for the 6-7 spectator events that I travel to each year with my family will go to Pirelli World Challenge events, sanctioned by Sports Car Club of America. NASCAR/IMSA/Camping World can kiss it where the sun don't shine.
It's probably trivial in terms of impact, but it's MY money; I work hard for it and I don't appreciate being spit upon by some elitist @ss that thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. I guess the point is, there are things you CAN do, however seemingly small, that can and DO have an impact.
I really don’t understand many of the comments.
It would be a watershed moment for the world to see the effect of a group of slighted people simple saying, “Alrighty, then; no problemo.”
Frankly, if more Conservatives truly gave a damn, they’d give up their precious sports and unplug from cable/satellite, too. But I know FAR too many who are all talk, human nature being what it is.
Spanked hard ny the Board. I’m surprised he wasn’t sacked — he’s probably chairman of the board.
It constantly amazes me how these supposedly smart people who have risen to high corporate positions can be so stupid. Are these people so consumed by irrational hatred that they do stupid and intemperate things without realizing what they are doing?
Some, like Cook at Apple, are a lot more subtle about it and make million dollar donations to leftist whack jobs.
Then you have a guy like Bezos buys an entire newspaper to give his voice a big megaphone...but hides it behind so-called journalism.
The CEO of Starbucks does some really outrageous, stupid things, but he probably gets away with it because his stores and products are the darlings of rich leftist liberals. He never seems to be held to account, but he is forced to back down now and then (e.g., the coffee cups and baristas that were supposed to “start a conversation” about race).
THAT is AWESOME!
