Well, since most of the gulf coast was on the “bad” side...... We went to see what was left of Waveland. Not much that’s for sure. We left the area in ‘86 when transferred to Fl. Retired/laid off in Aug 2011 and headed west 3 weeks later. If it wasn’t for the humidity and love bugs..........
Love bugs stopped a while ago and I had a bottle of bug/tar remover in the carport to wipe them off so they wouldn't screw up the paint. The humidity and gnats make it so the Summer isn't really a good time to enjoy the outdoors.
The threat of hurricanes is just a "bonus".
