It’s really simple, you see global warming causes the clouds to expand and touch the earth acting like brakes thereby causing the earth to slow down. When the clouds drag over mountains it sets up a vibration causing earth quakes. Just basic science.

Yes, of course - cloud brakes. Now it makes sense. Everyone thinks that the atmosphere is a thin shell that rotates with the planet in a vacuum, but what color is the night sky?

It's black, of course - just like a freshly-poured asphalt roadway. That's what supplies the traction that allows the cloud brakes to work (and all brakes work more effectively when warm).

Unfortunately as this happens the centrificult force that pulls the clouds away from the Earth’s surface will lessen with the reduced rotational speed causing more drag. I’m afraid we’re doomed.
