If any of the SEC teams had two losses, Big 10 fans would say they shouldn’t be in the playoffs.

Perhaps.
As a PSU alum saddened at their having lost two games by a total of four points, I also seem to recall some team from WI that was 12-0 at the end of the regular season.
The post-season seemed pre-ordained to be the ESPN Bowl, regardless.

(not to mention UCF's perfect seaon ;-)

If the SEC would actually play 9 CONFERENCE GAMES instead of 8, and then instead of scheduling UL Monroe, Troy, and Mercer would have to play another team from the other division in their conference like the Big 10 does then maybe they would have 2 losses. Good thing Alabam doesn’t play a 5-6 FCS Mercer next year, but they do play FCS The Citadel. What a joke, can’t find any FBS teams to play?
