I have the ringing question what happens if Netflix killed the networks? Where would it get its original content? I guess that is what they are trying to solve. So far its movies barely exceed made for TV standards, but its series have been decent - especially Narcos and Stranger Things.

And I guess it will always, likely, have all that Australian and British content, which most of the time, is superb.

I think NETFLIX is redefining the industry and they're doing it through less expensive actors.

Someone once asked why there were so many British actors on TV and the answer given was they were less expensive.

IF that is true, that might also answer the question of why a lot of locations were in Canada.

I don't know the answer, but Stranger Things was just ONE of the well written series we've binged on.

The very first binge we ever did was LONGMIRE and that hooked us.
