Interesting, but he’s describing something a little different than I am.

The technique I’m talking about uses programs to get to the bit/byte layer of images (or files) and cryptically insert short/small data strings inside that layer. You need special programs to hide and unhide this information.

The more information you hide inside an image, the more it distorts the image when viewed. Thus, the things inside are generally relatively small to the overall size of the image.

This can also be done with sound, video, or other files. The larger the file, the more can be conveniently hidden.
