One glaring thing jumped out at me from this. I have sailed my “Private yacht” to Vancouver island several times from both Washington and Alaska. Each time my boat was strip searched by Canadian customs. Returning to the US was not much better (Don’t tell US Customs you have a cigar on board returning from Canada). Someone is posting about things on which they have no actual experience.
