This one appears to show the former lake bottom, which was opened to agriculture thanks to a river diversion project in Mycenaean Greek times. The translation of the original article to English wasn't done smoothly, that much is obvious.

I’m heading to Cyprus next summer — need to convince my wife to let me go to the historical sites rathern than accompany her to the beaches!
