No indication that this is related to the 'war' at all. Out of the Combat Center @ 29 Palms, routine training. Used to go to that vicinity constantly, away from people.
I was in the desert riding dirtbikes a couple times the past few weeks, and both times, Ospreys were flying back and forth overhead. Could have been training missions just like what the crashed copter was said to be. Or could be preparing to keep an eye on the border. The border was about 15 miles south of where I was.
