Tinnitus 911/Vanity

Posted on 06/15/2018 11:00:35 AM PDT by Allen In Texas Hill Country

I was on TheLibertyDaly website and clicked an ad about tinnitus. The site was,,, not amazing,,, but exhausting. Dozens of pages of,,,,,, OK, garbage. Then I did a search on Tinnitus 911 and was,,, this time, amazed. Amazed how THOROUGHLY the creators of this s--m had saturated the web with many, many, many sites saying how great it was. After searching thru pages of items generated by the search I found ONE response that called the product for what it was, a s--m. The cost per bottle is a joke.

I hope this entry hope didn't step on any Tinitus 911 user toes .

Nicely done. I do remember the crickets. Fondly. And lightning bugs.

“I’ve had some success using Biotin (a B vitamin) the theory is it can help with hair growth, and part of the ear depends on tiny hairs. “

Recent research indicates it is a nerve problem and nothing to do with hairs.

Hyperventilating increases blood CO2. Doesnt do much for increasing O2. Perhaps what you’re doing is simply taking deeper breaths? I scuba dive. Hyperventilation is all bad.

I have had tinnitus for many years, the only time in memory that it has gone away for a time was in 2009 when I spent a week in a house at the beach and swam in the surf for at least an hour every day that week. It went away completely but came back after about a week back home without the swimming in the surf.

Mine is the product of gunfire and explosions. Unfortunately, back in the 90s and early 2000s, gunfire usually occurred prior to seeking out the hearing protection

Now, all sound picked up by my left ear is brought to me by the letter “E”...

...as in, “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”...

Tapping on your skull with your fingers sometimes can help.

If it does not work you are not out any money.

That I do once or twice a day. It moderates the ???????????????? sound a small but noticeable bit for about an hour or so.

High quality Ginko worked for me. Then, cut down on salt and sugar.

Roughly my causes, too. Add to that five years in power plants, exploding bicycle tires, gun shots, Can-Am races, bringing a sledge hammer down on a full roll of caps, front row at many rock concerts, wood and metal shops, hours and hours of unmuffled lawn mowers...need I go on? Young, stupid, and, worst of all, not one person warning about what I was doing to myself.

There is one temporary “fix” for tinnitus. This only lasts a short period of time.

Listen to even balanced white noise in both ears for a period of time. That’s it.

cicadas sounds work too as does rain and thunder and sea shores. During the day I have river sounds and birds calling and light classical music on. Plus my hearing aids have a sound interference setting.

This doesn’t solve the problem but it makes it more manageable and enables me to think and sleep. I’m 65.

That said, I fear what it will be like in 10 or 20 years as the problem has only got progressively worse over the last five years.

I,have had T for 22 years. Ringing is loud enough that I need hearing aids now. Signia (née Siemens) recently came out with a new hearing aid that uses what they call notch therapy to help with tinnitus. I think i have about a 30% improvement with them.

I don’t know of anything that will actually cure tinnitus, but for anyone interested, these essential oils are thought to help:

“Helichrysum can help to regenerate nerves, improve skin conditions and reduce inflammation while promoting healing and well-being.

Lavender is a decongestant which can help to stimulate cellular repair and regeneration.

Cypress is able to stimulate blood circulation while also helping calm the nervous system. This is beneficial for certain types of tinnitus (pulsatile tinnitus) that result from a problem in blood circulation.

Juniperberry helps to cleanse the blood and detoxify the body.”

Oh, I forgot to add that the oils should be diluted in a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil, and placed not in the ear, but behind and around it.
